About TuJu App Guide

TuJu App Guide (tujuapp.online) is an independent, unofficial guide to the TuJu highway navigation app — Malaysia's official highway app built by the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) together with Prosignal Consortium Sdn Bhd.

We started this site in October 2026, right when interest in TuJu exploded after Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim publicly urged Malaysians to switch from Waze to TuJu over data-security concerns. Searches for the app hit record highs that week, and we saw drivers asking the same questions everywhere: what is the TuJu app, how do I download it, is it better than Waze, and why is it not working on my phone?

So we built the guide we wished existed.

What you'll find here

Everything on this site is about one thing: helping Malaysian drivers get the most out of TuJu. That means:

  • Feature explainers — what Precision Navigation, the toll calculator, the 33 highway CCTV cameras, the R&R directory, emergency assistance, and MyJalan integration actually do.
  • Comparisons — honest TuJu vs Waze breakdowns, because most of you are deciding whether to switch.
  • How-to guides — checking toll prices before a trip, using the cameras to plan around traffic, reporting incidents, and step-by-step usage in both English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Troubleshooting — fixes for the common problems drivers run into, from location-permission issues to GPS and login trouble.

How we write

We keep things plain and practical. Short sentences, concrete details, no fluff. When we state a fact about the app — its launch date (26 November 2025), its developers, its features — it's grounded in official announcements and press coverage, not guesswork. Where we give opinions (like whether TuJu beats Waze for a particular drive), we say so clearly.

Not affiliated with TuJu or LLM

This site is not owned by, run by, or affiliated with the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM), Prosignal Consortium Sdn Bhd, or any government body. We're independent writers who cover the app because Malaysian drivers need clear information about it. For official news, always check the app's official store listings or LLM's own channels — details are in our disclaimer.

If you spot something outdated or wrong on this site, tell us through the comments on any post. We update guides when the app changes.
